Two worlds.
One curiosity.

I earned my bachelor’s degree from Smith College. I double-majored in Computer Science and Music—equally happy debugging code and chasing a melody. My curiosity lives where the two meet: music information retrieval (MIR), optical music recognition, digital bands, and AI-generated music with emotional depth.

When I’m away from the keyboard (the computer kind), you might find me at another one, or playing violin, erhu, drums, or guitar. I also compose, turning the occasional tune stuck in my head into something everyone else can hear.
