I am interested in the relationships between sound, structure, emotional expression, and technology. My compositions explore these connections through different instruments, textures, and approaches to performance.

Behind the music
I learned how closely the rise and fall of language, its phrasing, and its pauses need to align with the musical direction and pauses of the accompaniment. Bringing these elements together helps the voice and piano unfold as a coherent whole.
I explored a range of playing techniques on the violin and cello, translating the feelings different ice cream flavors evoke into music: playful strawberry, fresh green tea, and cooling mint, whose contradictory character is loved by some and disliked by others. Vanilla feels gentle and warm; chocolate, rich and weighty. Yet every flavor shares the same fleeting fate: once it has been eaten, it is gone.
I tried combining piano with a recorded soundtrack to tell the story of a pianist’s life. Looking ahead, I would love to explore AI-assisted effects generated in real time during a performance, allowing the sound to respond as the story unfolds.
An experimental score with ample freedom for interpretation.

Behind the music
This experimental score asks how much freedom a composer can give performers. By leaving room for their choices, I invite them to become co-creators, allowing each performance to take a different shape.
